CORPORATE PROFILE

Since 2009 we have pursued our mission to improve mariners’ access to marine and subsea environmental data. Our focus is on underwater acoustic technology for the marine and subsea industries.

Our team of sonar engineers and signal-processing experts are engaged in continuous R&D. Their aim is to add new capabilities and improve our products in response to the changing needs of our customers. Applying our knowledge of advanced underwater acoustics technology, eSonar provides solutions for the challenges of operating subsea equipment such as trawls and monitoring buoys.

At eSonar we offer advanced high-level and low-level software and firmware capabilities:

  • Low-level software capabilities include programmable logic, network processors and a specialization in Arm processor types.

  • High-level software capabilities include user interface, signal processing, instrument control, long term monitoring, data collection and storage, data display and bespoke visualization.

As a result of our focus and advanced knowledge, the acoustics and lighting technology products we have developed are used extensively by marine scientists and companies in Canada, the United States and internationally. Our engineers, software specialists, technologists and technicians are eager to work with you to deliver your next commercial design for subsea application.
